Bloomfield MO | I switched from from using Deere, several years ago and switched to a 1230 CIH. Heavier built planter and better for no till. I like the simplicity and accuracy of the meters. I like the double disk closing system but I’m not a fan of the single tire for no till. I need to find something to replace the tire for no till, that will allow for more down pressure on the seed trench. If it’s a tad to damp the current system has some difficulty sealing the top of the trench. | |
