Subject: Case IH planters

NW IL, Mercer County
I’m seeing more Case IH planters popping up in my area. I currently run a White with all the Ag Leader downforce, electric drive, plus Precision vSet meters. I like the idea of the trailing gauge wheel design but not real sure on the offset openers. Any thoughts on how those perform vs the standard side by side opener systems? Also the closing system has me intrigued. I’m a little unhappy with the standard V closing in certain conditions, leaving a little air pocket here and there, and wonder if the Case 2 stage would be better? I’m 90% strip-till corn but do some no-till corn as well. Talk me out of a 1250, 1255, or 2150 Case planter!!
