set the bins back from the roadway allowing tractor trailer space to unload and load .Leave lots of space for future bins.
design layout that trucks drive straight in , unload and do a 180 to go back out.
Set bins up so you can use a leg with a drive over pit to fill bins with and the leg to fill an overhead when unloading the bins.
Yields will keep getting higher. Top dry continuous is a good way to set up for drying.
A TRUCK scale is a key piece of equipment when setting up your elevator. We have three 5400 bu overhead bins over a 10ft x100 ft 100 tonne truck scale
which makes it very nice for loading trucks .
Go with at least a 5000 bu leg and 10" down pipes. GO WITH THE LARGEST YOU CAN AFFFORD.
Three phase hydro uses smaller gauge wire than single phase.
