Ted bear: I got the radar calibrated to the monitor. Just played around with the cal # and got it to match. 141000 was the pulses per minutes number i ended up using.
Glad to hear you got it dialed in. Your number surprises me but my experience has been with the Deere monitors where the number was much lower.
As long as the speed shown on the KPM 2 seems reasonably correct, your area for a known field should be close or slightly larger than what you expect. Then the displayed population should be accurate.
Digging for the seed is still recommended as genuine proof.
