Eastern WA | Well I don’t trust the notches on our 455s so we usually do a catch test to get rates dialed in. The link is to a seeding rate calculator. So just plug in your lbs per acre and play with your spacing numbers (6,12, & 18”) and figure out what you should catch out of one seed tube over X number of feet. We usually do 200’ runs for wheat and CRP seed. Just pop a couple tubes off each box and rubber band a bag on the end. Make your run and then weigh the bags. We have found that different boxes will need to be at different notches to get the right rate.
