Not speaking for the OP, but I will take raising a crop every day, over price. ‘23 was a record yield here, and then got beat by ‘24.
Price is great, and a necessity at some point (wish I knew that fine line).
But if you don’t raise a crop, you don’t have much. Crop at at a low price beats nothing to sell from seat.
Edit to add:
This spring is one of the best we’ve had in years. Off to a good start. If we can just hold off the rain for the rest of the summer, we’ll be in good shape. Need what some call a “drought” to raise a crop around here. Hope we don’t get measurable rain for the next two months.
