SE Michigan | I would look at it a little different
First, I know nothing about hay or that type of "crop" but 1000 acres is a lot of ground to cover with a $10k tractor. I would seriously look at what you will be doing / earing for the next 10 years and factor that into your tractor needs. What I am trying to say is spend $30-60K now and finance it for several years. Yes, you will pay interest buy I would think you would be better off with a more "usable" machine that you can pay off over time. A $10K tractor doesn't seem like it will be sustainable for very long with the use you stated (??).
Check around, there might be some deals on financing (I have not looked) | |
