Do you even need tillage where you’re at? We strip till behind our corn stalks in the spring. Case corn head with knife rolls works well for us for both strip till or no till. The Deere chopping head we ran was to aggressive with choppers on and not aggressive enough just using the regular stalk rolls


Tillage is definitely not a requirement. But I don't have a strip till rig. Could need P some years pre plant soybeans, so possibly need a tillage there as my planter is setup bare currently.

Do the standing corn stalks affect soybean harvest in no till setting? Good to hear on the case corn head. Mind me asking what model? Have a NH combine so a yellow version would fit nicely.
