We have a "solar screen" outside our big west window in the living room, which helps with the afternoon and evening sun. You can see through the screen, but it is relatively dark.
Adding more insulation in the attic was the most significant help to temperature control. Our natural gas supplier paid most of the cost of adding insulation to R-60 in the attic, which really helps.

I need that on a small building near our grain system. The building faces west with large windows for visibility.

How does the screen install?

We get 40 mph winds here routinely.
