this has been a sad fight. when we build oil pipelines, farmers love the easement money. when it is a pipeline for the benefit of the farmers, farmers wont give an easement. I dont understand, make it make sense...
It isn’t about AN easement. It is about using eminent domain to wrest that easement from landowners at a lower price.
Oil pipes used ED also and IMO that was a bad precedent. |
