Quack grass is the only issue after power tilling.If you have it a mold board and 3 seasons will get it gone.So it is more economical to treat with gly,hold out of cert for 3 years.What the big guys do out west but they use R/R alfalfa,grow for a couple years,send hay to Japan ,chop it and farm the certified"organic field" with pumped water from the Colorado,,,real green actions that consumers pay big $$ for.So till it plant r/r alfalfa and copy their methods.Same with organic wild blueberry here,chem the crap out of it,cycle a couple times=cert organic...
