SW OH | We can kill 50 in 15 minutes each with badminton rackets, but then your arms get tired. It doesn't seem to reduce the numbers any. We've tried all sorts of traps, sprays, plugging holes, filling holes with insecticide paste, hanging paper bags, nothing seems to help.
Years ago wheen when we still had dairy cows we had Orkin come one a month to spray the barns for flies. I know they used cyfluthrin. It killed them. 2 days after spraying there were lots of dead bees, and none flying. I try using cyfluthrin a different way every year and have no luck.
They don't like light. In the dark corners of barns you won't find any. We have 1 barn that when all the doors are closed, it's almost dark inside during the day. As long as the doors are kept closed, they don't bother that barn.
