I notill into standing stalks. I follow the old rows and drill the beans in between the 30"s with new 15"s. I avoid planting in trash so that the beans are in good dirt. If I get crazy and plant too early into soil that is wet, then get a rain on it there will be a crust like concrete. this it the leap of faith one takes when you roll that planter.
