None of these matters.
The WASDE will show ample supply of both corn and beans with a 181 and 52 almost guaranteed.
BTW, Ohio is not in good shape for the whole, but it is early. Some guys done with corn and some not started.
Saw a couple of rotary hoes running yesterday. Thousands of unplanted and not nearly fit acres around here.
You have to remember that USDA’s 181 or 52 is their estimated ENDING point, not starting point for a national yield. Yield potential right now is much higher than that, but a series of weather events like this, among many other factors will eventually beat the crop up to the point that those numbers will be close to what the national average yields will be. |
