Southern Missouri | A little early for airplanes but my corn is just about to need topdress nitrogen and looks like plane gonna be only way for a day or two, course the price of corn is so high the extra charge for plane over ground rig is no big deal especially with 630 dollar per ton urea , that’s without any kind of treatment for laying it on top the ground, all the rain has helped the 130 lb of nitrogen per acre we put pre plant just go out the window, the picture is early Monday morning and it’s the same o same o for southern Illinois ,SEMO , west Tennessee and west ky , too bad that area doesn’t move the market much and also unreal the difference this spring between this area and our neighbors a little west of us and a little north , I may drive up that way in a few days just to see what dry dirt looks like
