Presidents used to put their business interests in a blind trust while in office. The current administration is focused on enriching itself and makes no pretense of separating governing for the people.
Note the crypto coins and now accepting a 13 year old 747 from Qatar for Trump's personal use after he leaves office. Yet has no problem eliminating the farm to school program which feeds kids, along with many other examples.
45 holds a Tesla sales event on the white house lawn and musk eliminates any departments he doesn't like.
Republicans talk about reducing the federal deficit but lay off thousands of IRS employees and push to extend ridiculous tax cuts for the rich which contributed to where we are today.
Crude oil is way down but gas is not. Groceries continue to rise as will many other categories as the effects of tariffs hits. Eggs are higher yet, and BTW they fired a lot of people working on bird flu.
Musk talks about social security as a "Ponzi scheme" but retiring people have put 12% of their paychecks ( 6% each by employee and employer) into social security for close to 50 years.
We are jailing black mayors trying to do their jobs yet fast tracking white "refugees" from musk's South Africa. Evidently immigration is different if you're white.
Bill Clinton was impeached by the GOP because he couldn't keep his pants zipped. 45 seems to be able to enrich himself, ignore the Constitution and the Courts while the rest of the Republican party just sits there trying to figure out how to keep their jobs.
I get messages from friends overseas, showing pictures of 45 as Pope, asking how our country can accept this behavior from our government. We have squandered many years of respect and are now the laughing stock of much of the world.
This is not stability, it's passed even the chaos stage. This is an embarrassment, especially to those souls who have given their lives in the past to protect democracy and the rule of law.
