| Here it is not just the extra yield from no till, it is also the reduced cost.
I was chatting with a guy the other day and he was wanting to till more trying to get more yield. He has the fertility to get good crops, but with these dry years, not enough water.
Add in another 40 bushel yield, plus the savings of not just a tillage pass or 2, but also the saving the fixed cost of the big tractor and tillage equipment.
Granted not every year not till will win by 40 bushel. | |
