Had that bad during a really dry spring several years ago. Two thirds of the corn was 14 inches tall and the other third over the anhydrous tracks was about 4 inches tall and a blueish color. Thought it was going to die. Started raining in June and surprisingly that field made its best yield ever that year. 265 if my memory is correct. If it doesn't rain, I have no idea.
