Bloomington and Putnam IL
Yep. Mainly fish with Zebco 33 for trout in Arkansas and in the Kickapoo creek in Illinois. Caught some MONSTER carp and flat heads with the 10# line and the small mouth still a good fight. Back when we had a lot of nice hybrid bass at lake Thunderbird, would "beef up" to the 20# test Zebco. Simple to use for the kids and cheap enough to trash when they get wore out. I almost always fish a live crawler with a weight above split shot sinker and move it around like a lure near the bottom. Works on almost all species.
