I wouldn't roll the rye before anthesis and it sounds like it's close. I like to actually wait until the rye is through pollination and in grain fill so that you will have a cover crop for next year already on the field. Soybeans can be rolled up to the first trifoliate without any trouble so you have two or three weeks to work with.
