| I have a Gen 2 20/20 running Rowflow and Seed sense. I wanted to try to use the simulated headlands feature late last week. I have set it to be on on the control plan, have an imported and functioning boundary mapped with RTK, created the headland in the simulated headlands screen at 55 feet, and have swath control on. The field I was trying to use it in is pretty much rectangular, only exception is the barn lot and a pipeline valve. The field prior that I planted I tried it there as well, there is only one straight edge on this field. Set it up the same, after a couple rounds, it started working and worked just fine through the field. This next one, it never would work.
The boundary is good because A.) it is on the map on fieldview cab, B.) I use the swath control for inner boundaries (waterways) and it worked just fine there. c.) it's the same boundary being used by Autotrac and it's planting to the boundary on boundary trac just fine.
Swath control works fine on inner boundaries and map coverage. Planted all season with both of those without issue.
It's a White 8523 planter, so 23 rows at 15", so 28.750 feet. I plant two passes for headlands and that would be 57.5'. I set the simulated headlands at 55' just to be on the safe side. I am learning here and was trying to use this to plant headlands last, particularly when it might be a hair wetter than we would like.
What am I missing here?
