| I have no idea of tax code, but can offer some advice about what you buy.
Make sure a realtor doesn’t dupe you. Some of the descriptions I see on property forsale locally are totally unrealistic. I wouldn’t tell them it’s a 1031 exchange, because there’s a time limit on it and when you get close you’ll have to overpay. You’ll want to see the yields on a place and should look at a soil type map with someone who knows the soils of the area. Any claims about irrigation water flow need to be carefully vetted. | |
