| The very first thing is , get a good attorney who deals with this stuff, do not accept a less offer because the buildings are still there, also do not move the buildings, if an amish crew will take them down and give you something for them go for it. You are going to make a large amount of money you can build new, the developer is also going to make a large amount of money he can afford to bulldoze the buildings very easily. As far as buying this is where you have to talk to auction companies and multiple ones, they are the ones selling farmland and sites to other farmers, they also know of farmers that are thinking of retirement and looking for just the right offer but don’t have the farm actually listed for sale.
