As others mention: timing is everything. Tax years don't really have any bearing on the deal, outside of your tax person will have a little additional work. Nothing big I don't think.
If you end up selling depreciated assets as a result of the land sale: listen to Boone. There are ways to fund a retirement plan from that sale for example that can be very beneficial to you. | |
