Subject: RE: Trimble 750 and ez steer Fast RTK

East Central, Nebraska
i have many questions and with no details its hard to diagnose your problems. lots of people seem to blame the correction source for every problem that 99% of the time is the fault of the steering system. and unfortunately in that situation the ez steer is kind of the bottom of the barrel as far as steering performance goes. i guess i would start by asking, is the system weaving or is it perfectly straight but off the 10 inches pass to pass like you state? if its making perfectly straight passes but off then i would ask is it off to one side consistently or does it vary sometimes off 10 inches and then 10 again on the next pass? what is your rtk source?

as stated its tough to diagnose when the post is merely a complaint and does not give information. i used ez steers for a long time and if you tune them in right and you get it started right on the line it will do okay.
