In the summer when I was 5 1/2 dad let me combine flax. It was a John Deere 6600 with a gas engine and a 4 belt pickup head. When we finished the field on the north end, dad drove the truck to the south end and I drove the combine, it was a full quarter. Just turned the key off at the end. Neighbor Joe was waiting on the for us and asked if we could come help him combine, so we did.
