Like tie shoes and chew gum at the same time? However there are some youngsters that are willing to work. There is one in particular that comes to mind. She is a high school senior and works part time at the LTC facility where my wife is a resident. I’ve watched her work ethic and an older male resident said it best this morning. ( Look at her-she looks for work.) I see to many wait for work to come to them and then give the disappointment look from having to remove their eyes from their cell phone.
I’m going to say three are some real good kids left . I’ll quote two examples. These kids paid to go to tech school
Then were hired by JB hunt based on their grades I then got them first . Would teach them the computer , how JB did things in the shop . Can’t recall how many over the years . I do know I only canned 2
EMT / Fire academy is the same way . The students that get through are definitely going to make it .
