Mid-Michigan | I don't know. I've been screwing around now for years with all the crap everyone sells. I'm a sucker. I'm a snake oil guy. I'll try anything usually at least twice before making my evaluation. This year I decided to treat some seed with Illevo and plant some early soybeans. Planted some April 27th. Ground was perfect. Everyone was working so I gave in to peer pressure. They are knuckling through. Two nights ago I had to scrape frost off my window. The weather forecast was spot on. Lows in the low forties and rain. It rained .97 on my beans and thousands of planted acres around me I truly felt stupid out there planting. If they are better than those I plant this this week (perfect ground and weather forecast), ill say it did something, but not sure the treatment will pay for itself. For all you guys planting into frost, what are accomplishing? | |
