Subject: Recipe from last year for starling eating "getting even"

Holland, Indiana (SW IN)
Last year had starlings build a nest in our planter tractor Case 340
burnt the wiring harness--- thanks to our dealer who got it running in a day or so
I posted this on FB --Have plenty of time to think with auto steer and long rows

Hope Agtalk enjoys the read --too wet here to plant this weekend ---

Starling recipe— I know most like to debreast bird and wrap in bacon and grill rare done
However I prefer to use Granny Clampetts recipe think it brings out the gritty deep Starling flavor
Take out entrails split tiny gizzard remove rocks— save for garnish
Quick fry entrails pour off the juices and make rich brown gravy
Simmer entrails and cubed Starling meat in the gravy for 2 hours
Chill till mixture has consistency of chunky peanut butter
Spread thickly on fried Starling eggs ( only use the fertilized eggs)
Garnish with boiled Starling feet, beaks and rocks. Saved from gizzards
Delicious and as Jed Clampett would say almost better second time around
Revenge is best served COLD

Be safe this spring
Dan
