8 of those 12 months are in Florida or Arizona calling back to the hired man to see if he has the March deliveries completed. The other 4 months are spent back home “farming” after the deere tech set up all the tech to farm inherited soil. You can fool the general public, but some aren’t blind.

Tell me you're out of touch without telling me. LoL. We've spent less than $1 an acre in the last year on dealer service calls on our farm. We spend our winters doing equipment repair, truck repair, hauling grain, and unlike most, buy yearlings, feed them and run them on grass. W Most people around me are in a similar boat unless they are blessed with a lot of paid for land. You can just admit you don't farm.
