Went to post office yesterday at 8:00 AM, hours are 7:30 to 11:00 AM, no one there, door locked...???
No one is on time anymore. Made my trip to farm supply store opens at 7 and on time . Ran my errands all over town . Came back by Aldi to get a few things says opens at 9 . It does but not a second before . I’m an early person
I guess 30 years of getting up at 4-4:30 does that to a fellow .
I’m early always , always have been .
As I have said our society is declining very fast , sadly not seems work ethic is gone .
There is still work ethic on farms and ranches , bunch of guys at JB hunt that work , UPS guys work very hard , firehouse has a bunch of fellows that will work too , at GO time we do .
I’m going to say guys that pour concrete out work the whole rest of us . I have poured with my best friend . That is Work on a good sized slab .
As for the original topic , there is very little reason to be late but once in a while it’s understandable. But it’s the same people all the time .
Ever notice the people that are late are not going to do much work anyhow .
People that are late bother me , IMO they think their time is more valuable than mine . It’s disrespectful to make people wait on the late person . |
