SW OH
I've had a Prefiert for about 15 years. It gets about 40 head through it on vet day, and another 20 random head throughout the rest of the year. It has served me well. My 2,500# bull will not fit in it. 1,800# it's about all that can fit. The automatic catch is sporadic. It needs all the mechanisms to be well lubricated. The self catch only works if the animal comes in like a wild Tasmanian devil. Most of my herd walk in slowly and don't trip the latch. It catches anything from 75# to 1,800.
