Eastern Iowa | Assuming you have waterhemp as well as some grass I would go Metolachlor or Acetochlor + Imazethapyr (pursuit) + Zidua pre at high rates (all can be sprayed after beans are up) and plan to spray 2x post. First pass of Clethodim + Fomesafen (Flexstar) or Lactofen (Cobra) followed by another shot of Fomesafen (Flexstar) or Lactofen (Cobra) if needed - just have to watch rates and carryover potential. You will get some burning but assume you can tolerate if you are planting non GMO. If you go generic to avoid breaking the bank the Zidua will be the most expensive component. | |
