All these people thinking there is some type of master plan clearly has not paid attention. This administration is a shoot from the hip approach with a bunch of chaos thrown in. When the president says no trade isn't a bad thing because it saves us over a trillion a year that should tell everyone his lack of understanding about trade. When you want a massively liberal country to join your union as a conservative leader you either are really stupid or you are really stupid. So no there is not a genius plan to devalue the dollar, actually they were expecting it to strengthen.


They want whatever they want but it's obvious the other currencies are likely to strengthen against the dollar. No clue why but I doubt they have a clue. 30 pct is not out of the ballpark at all IMHO.
