We're starting to look more at Mn too - what have you found to be the best way to get it in the plant (corn and soybeans)?
I have pretty much given up on foliars. They are too expensive and they don't last long enough. That said we get a yield response every time we do it. The only foliar product that I would consider would be AgFocus's Microjuice. It's cheap enough that a guy an out a decent amount out there and get elevated tissue levels for close to a month vs the other more expensive stuff that lasts half as long. This year we are putting the MN in the ground with the strip til rig. MN sulfate is cheap comparitively at .60 cents a pound so you can afford to put some elemental amounts.out there
We have tests from 0 to 20 elemental pounds and long with high rates of zinc to see if we can benefit from that. I will know a lot more about that this fall once we get the tissue samples data and harvest data back so check with me then. Microjuice is pretty compatible with every but P, but that MN sulfate can be tough to work with when you start putting fertilizer in the mix, but it dissolves great in water.
