Eastern NE KS | Do you have a new sire for this group of 65 calves?
Answering your question:
I have never seen a 'one-nutter' but over the last 4 years I had 2 bull calves that were impossible to band at birth with cheerio bands.
In both cases I found 2 testicles but had to cut the band because only one was in the scrotum after releasing the plyers. I made a note to work them over at branding time.
At branding time, one calf I knife cut the other was successfully banded as his testicles dropped. Each calf was from different mothers and different calving groups but same sire.
