i have done it hundreds of times and been just fine. I always try to be no more than 2 days after the planter never had it fail me yet, and 100 percent add the metribuzin in for sure. If you have alot of grass i run some crop oil with it too seems to help kill grass for me but if not much grass leave the oil out to save money
