I have bought cows and yearling heifers, IMO always buy cows, I always came out better with cows over heifers. Far as what the future holds that is anybody's guess, (unlikely that prices will go up much though:) keep your eyes open there is always something that sells on the low side, just need patience and remember Rome was not built in a day.
