| Really thinking hard about possible ways to expand my herd. Just recently sold off 6 of our recip cows and kept the heifers they had (plus one steer) behind. So I’ve got a total of 5 heifers and really want to expand to around 20/30 or so. Right now with the way the market is, is it really dumb to try to buy more cows or should I wait it out. Problem is who knows what this market is going to do. Any suggestions would be great. Feel cows make way more sense than feeders at the moment but maybe I’m wrong. Being new to this I’m just stuck on what direction to go. Thanks for the suggestions! | |
