Sunnyside, WA | We have been feeding potatoes to dairy milk cows, dry cows and heifers for the last 17 months. 70+ tons per day. I prefer to let them sit for 1-4 weeks to break down a little. Grind 4 loads 0er day in the tmr mixer then put in loads as an ingredient. Had some sit for almost 3 months before feeding. Just bagged 6000+ tons with triticale. Figure 78% moisture fresh. There can be issues, but potatoes have treated us well. | |
