Southern Missouri | Is my understanding that wherever you were paying state taxes or considered home when you bought the property, that state controls the taxation of it when sold , in other words wherever your money was doing business when you bought it , that’s the state that’ll do the taxation of it when you sell it , a good question is if you moved to Missouri and 1031 Illinois farmland to Missouri and then sold , would be my opinion that your way over my head , need Boone or somebody to help there , I don’t know | |
