Not sure why stocks and land would be different? Not doubting you since the government is involved but the same increase on both was while living in Illinois.
Guess I would have to trade the land for stock and then sell the stock.

Talked to a friend who moved to Texas. He said that land annual income, capital gains and estate taxes all stay in Illinois. Stocks follow where you live. |
