Globalization is winding down and has been since 2020. Its been painfully obvious IMO. Look at the actions of many different countries, even the previous administration was taking anti china policies even though they didn't blast it on a loud speaker like the current one.

The biggest hints are that the US doesn't see as much of a value in NATO anymore and wants them to pay there own way. Also the US seems to be stating in a less direct way that is is fine with debasing its currency to make domestic production more competitive.

Paraphrasing "We want to bring are currency valuation in line with the rest of the world that has been unfairly manipulating there own to gain a trade advantage"

Translation we want a weaker dollar to help domestic production and boost exports

As far as land prices IDK which way they will go so many conflicting factors
