| Howdy folks! I am dealing with an internet issue. If it was a 12v system I’d say it was a ground issue. My internet quit working properly 6 weeks ago. Sometimes rebooting my router and POE would get it going. Only once did reboot a device alone help. That was a day ago when Antimalware Service Executable bogged my PC down. I borrowed a router and that fixed it so my 2 year old router got warrantied. That helped for a week. It doesn’t make a seem to make a difference whether my PC is hooked up through wifi or Ethernet. It does seem to work fine without the router though. Normally rebooting everything helps for 5 minutes. I receive wireless internet from a local tower. Every time I contact them they get me to reboot and then it works until a little while after hanging up. I turned off power management on my PC wifi card. That made a difference for a while. I changed my DNS addresses. That also seemed to help for a bit. I downloaded PingPlotter but didn’t notice anything super unusual. Sorry for the long post but this has been driving me CRAZY! | |
