That's because you're insensitive to other peoples arguments, motivations and insights. So I won't go into the Russian gas situation again. Your worldview is in black and white, without a shade of grey, and you clearly don't understand the concept of a compromise.
I know I can join the International Freedom Brigade. But I won't. Why?
It's not that hard. It's for the same reasons you're not getting involved.
It's not my war until Putin attacks a Nato country. Until then, I support the strategy of the EU that is doing a good (not perfect) job navigating through all kinds of evil forces and realities. They make the compromises you fail to understand. And I won't bother explaining them to you. Youll have a much, much, much better chance Putin doesn’t attack your country if you’d join forces with Ukraine in defeating him beforehand. Right now you have a motivated Ukrainian army trying to defend themselves. With your mentality, you’ll let them get defeated, which they will, and then have to take on Russia without ukraines help. Most likely the Ukrainians will be conscripted to fight for Putin, now because of your passiveness and unwillingness to go fight, sooner or later you’ll be fighting them both. This can’t even be argued, but I’ll bet you’ll come up with a chicken chit excuse anyway. |
