I know that it baffles you.
That's because you're insensitive to other peoples arguments, motivations and insights. So I won't go into the Russian gas situation again. Your worldview is in black and white, without a shade of grey, and you clearly don't understand the concept of a compromise.
I know I can join the International Freedom Brigade. But I won't. Why?
It's not that hard. It's for the same reasons you're not getting involved.
It's not my war until Putin attacks a Nato country. Until then, I support the strategy of the EU that is doing a good (not perfect) job navigating through all kinds of evil forces and realities. They make the compromises you fail to understand. And I won't bother explaining them to you.

Europe has a history of trying (unsuccessfully) to deal as though situations are just some statesmen like moment where the other party will be “amazed” with speeches and oratory manure deeper than their knees and they’ll “trade compromise”. You’ll outfox them with your words……. This time is different
