FDA allowed generic/compounded trizepatide & semaglutide because there was a supply shortage. There is no longer a shortage, the FDA has given cease & desist deadlines for the generic manufacturing of both GLP’s. Trizepatide is all but done on the generic front, you might be able to source generic semaglutide through the middle of June?

Company copay cards are your best bet if your insurance doesn’t cover the GLP1. Unfortunately the drug manufacturers are going to steer you where they want the volume…wygovy & zepbound have a copay/discount card.
