The 30 year yield trend has been flattening, the 10 year has flattened a lot. That speaks more to me than a 90 year uptrend to figure out likely outcomes.
High priced corn adds acres in lower yielding areas.. so there’s that too.
Low yields in wheat and poor soybean and cotton prices add corn acres?
… asking for a friend.
fwiw I’m switching some double crop acres.. if I even get it in.. back to poverty beans. … just because.
