South Central MN | Been helping with the farm stuff as long as I can remember, just loved doing it I guess. Didn't get forced into it and working for a few years in a factory made me realize I like being outdoors too much and prefer to make my own schedule. I know farm work can be hard on the body but seemed that factory stuff was worse for me. At least I can work out how to accomplish a task instead of just having to brute force it all the time. Been running stuff with my name on it for a bit over 10 years now (vs. volunteer labor before that) and dad has been gone for 8 of those haven't felt like quitting yet.
Hope a kid or two of mine decide to farm someday but that is for them to choose.
