Douglass Kansas

We have been using outlook and valor on headed rye and I believe it helps a lot.  Our rye is spread which leaves some random bare spots.

Did they ever mention how big or what stage the rye was in when it was sprayed?  I do know that when you spray headed out rye when the temp is 75 degrees it dies a lot faster then when it is a foot tall and 60 degrees. Could the difference in stage of rye affect how much of the chemical is tied up in the plant?
